Free CD of Original MOUSIE Songs! You Pay Only for Shipping and Handling! In January I rushed into a recording studio to get these songs down for copyright purposes. I had spent the past few months working on getting my Mardi Gras 2008 Print finished and published, and really had not been spending any time on my music, so I was out of practice, and the renditions aren't perfect yet, but the songs are "tastefully bawdy" (if there is such a thing!) and lots of fun! These are all songs that I wrote at Pensacola Beach last summer, plus one Bonus Song from 1983, accompanied with guitar and ukulele. Please Note If you are also ordering Prints~ This CD will be shipped in a protective box separately from any Print Order (I can't put it in a tube!) so the $6 for the CD will be applied in addition to the Shipping Fee for the rest of your order.~ Thanks, MOUSIE

When I started to record this I was really nervous, so I sang an old
song that I wrote in the 80's, knowing that I had played it so many
thousands of times I could just put it on automatic. It is a very sad
song. My wonderful husband, Fritz the Cat, had not appeared yet at that
time, perhaps
because, as I sang in the song, I didn't know what I'd been looking for,
and didn't know if I'd ever find it. Unbelievably, in 1994, after I had sat
talking with my sister, Kitty, and my best friend, Saundra, and
created a clear and precise description of what I was looking for, Fritz
appeared, and he matches the description perfectly!
My songwriting has been on the back burner for the past few years, but my new Ukulele and our new circumstances have inspired a passel of new songs, and I'm really excited about getting them out there for people to enjoy! Take advantage of my free offer now, and get a sneak preview of things to come! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My most recent song was inspired when I was given the exciting opportunity to be involved with the upcoming Robosapien Movie, a family oriented story reminiscent of the Geppeto and Pinocchio tale. It involves a scientist who has created robots that he thinks will be used for humanitarian purposes, only to discover that his creations are being used for military purposes. His little boy robot ends up lost, broken and confused, living with a little boy who finds and repairs him. I had the delightful experience of doing a cameo appearance of "New Orleans Artist MOUSIE as herself" in the movie, as a Jackson Square artist who draws a caricature of the little boy, played by Bobby Coleman (star of "Martian Child" with John Cusack.) Conceived and produced by Avi Arad (Spiderman, X-Men, Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four...) and directed by Sean McNamara (Bratz, The Cutting Edge: Going for the Gold, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel) the movie is scheduled for release in 2009.
