Detail of Face

The Mermaid Princess backed by a "Six Pelican Delta Formation" was inspired by the brilliant Blue Angels (U.S. Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron) Air Show on Pensacola Beach in Florida, and by all of the healing time I have spent in the beautiful Gulf waters there.   

My dislocation from New Orleans to the Florida Beaches will in no way diminish my efforts to represent Magic and Mystery and Pageantry in my work. I will continue to present my New Orleans Images, and hope to be able to occasionally do a piece for my new Home Away From Home.
